I have recently set up WHD on a Windows 2003. I set up receiving emails and they are being taken from the email account. However a ticket is not being created.
How can I find the tickets or even the messages?
Try doing a "blanket search" from the Tickets > Search Tickets > Basic Search in the Technicians UI.
If the ticket(s) did not assign to the technician that you expected, you can view the routing details by going into the ticket and mouse over the silhouette icon within the History section of the Ticket Details.
It's also possible that the e-mail sender is not in your WHD Client list, so the message is rejected. You have the option to create new clients for unrecognized e-mail senders at Preferences > E-Mail > Receiving E-Mail, or you can just make sure that your clients are all created before testing e-mail ticketing.
