    Hi there,

I am a "noob" at the whole DB thing. I just set up the software (this is lite but am in the 30 day trial) and did the initial log in. Before the upgrade (I think..?) it asked me if I wanted to use the embedded DB of FrontBase.. I hit continue..logged in with the admin/admin and did some changes to prefs/techs/other stuff..then I logged out. I now need to log in and have no idea what to put for the db info.. Step-by-step's would be appreciated.

Would be appreciated....especially if you don't criticize me..

You should only see that screen if your database connection was lost for some reason. The default username/password for the embedded FrontBase database is whd/whd.

Give that a try and see if you're able to connect.

Hi, If you are doing this on a client machine rather than the server, should the host not be the IP of your server on which the software is installed rather than 127.0.0.1 as this is your local nic loopback IP?

    Hi Dan,

Well, I am doing this on the server side.. the computer that I installed the software on. Is that the correct IP?

    Thanks,

    Joey
