Hi there,
I just downloaded WHD 9.2 for Mac and installed it. However, the only "help" available seems to be a one page readme file. Is there no manual for WHD?

You will find a link to the Web Help Desk Administrator's Guide under the "Other Resources" section of the vertical menu bar on the left side of this forum.

Thanks. Found it. Would probably not be completely wrong to either add this to the installation package or at least mention it somewhere.
Does it make sense to use the 9.1 guide for the 9.2 installation, or is it better to uninstall 9.2 and install 9.1?
A first look at the application itself in my browser made me frown: a help desk application without a help menu?
... and please don't get me wrong: I totally appreciate that you make this available kind of as a "One Year Free Trial". If I manage to dig into it and like it I will have no problem to pay some money for it after a year.

The 9.1 guide will be fine for installation of 9.2. The installation process is the same between versions.
We have not added the guide to the installation package because the guide would add another 14MB to the installer. However, there is a link in the README.pdf to the download page for the Admin Guide.
