    Is it possible to link or import data from another asset management system such as Express Metrics? That system has an open SQL database.

    At a basic level I want to display computer hardware information when opening help desk tickets from a user.

    I have no idea where to start on this though, does anyone have any pointers? if it is possible of course.
    I also take it I would need the full version of web help desk and not the lite version?

    Yes you should be able to under the Assets > Discovery Connections section and yes you will need to the Pro version.

    Just connect using the Connection Basics as shown and then map the attributes. If your data is mixed between tables then you will have to create multiple connections.
